Ultrafaux Ensemble crosses the boundaries between style and genre, performing original music inspired by Gypsy jazz, be-bop, Balkan music, bluegrass, funk, blues, Brazilian choro, and French musette. The group has thrilled audiences at top music festivals and concert halls all over the world both as a trio and as a larger ensemble featuring top guest musicians from the jazz, bluegrass, folk, classical, and world music scenes.

Ultrafaux has been featured at Festival Django Reinhardt in France, Django By The Sea, Django-A-Gogo, Napa Valley Jazz Society, The Kennedy Center, Midwest Gypsy Swingfest, Charm City Django Jazz Fest, Django Birthday Festival, Charm City Bluegrass Festival, Djangoary Soiree, IMT Folk Series, Preston Jazz and Improvisation Festival, International Folk Alliance 2020, and Valhalla Boathouse Theater to name a few.

The guitar-driven band features dazzling solos and rich gypsy-inspired melodies shared by guitar, violin, accordion and clarinet. The sound is both contemporary and traditional, exploiting every bit of virtuosity from an “A” list of guest artists which includes: Jason Anick (Boston), Giacomo Smith (London), Connor Stewart (New Orleans), Jonathan Greene (New York), Dallas Vietty (Philadelphia), Daniel John Martin (UK), Patrick McAvinue (Nashville), Aaron Malone (DC)
and Evan Price (San Francisco).

Ultrafaux had a full feature in The Baltimore Sun Weekend Edition and they were named one of the top artists in Baltimore by Baltimore Style Magazine. Harris is also Artistic Director and founder of the popular Charm City Django Jazz Festival held annually in Baltimore at the Creative Alliance. Harris was the first Gypsy jazz style guitarist to be interviewed multiple times on WTMD, a popular Indie rock-oriented radio station in Baltimore, Maryland
