May 22, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. Bell's Spring Beer Dinner: Terry B's, Dexter Terry B's and Bell's are reuniting for another fantastic night of beer and food. Chef Doug has developed another phenomenal menu, with a mix of favorite and specialty Bell's beers. The evening will begin with Oberon, end with Black Note and in between, Le Batteur, Roundhouse IRA and Two Hearted will be pouring. Weather permitting, there will be an option to dine on the patio. Reservations are required. Call 734-426-3727 for more information. *ON THE MENU: Reception beer: Oberon; First course: Local Greens - crispy duck confit, radish, pickled Swiss chard, beets, green goddess dressing and quail egg paired with Le Batteur; Second course: Michigan Shrimp Chowder - English pea, sweet corn, bacon, fingerling potatoes and a smoked trout "sandwich" paired with Roundhouse IRA; Third course: Chili Bacon Wrapped Pork Tenderloin - cheesy grits and charred pineapple relish paired with Two Hearted; Fourth course: Espresso Scented Colorado Lamb Loin - Northern bean puree, smoked pistachio and spring garlic sprouts paired with Porter; Fifth course: Butter Scotch Pot de Creme - Bourbon maple syrup and a salty, crispy chocolate bar paired with Black Note. |
