General questions

The Eccentric Cafe and the General Store are both located on the site of our original (and still operating) brewery in downtown Kalamazoo. You can get directions here. The main brewery is located in Comstock, about 15 minutes away.

We offer public tours of the original brewery in downtown Kalamazoo, connected to the newly renovated Eccentric Café located at 355 E. Kalamazoo Ave.

Tours are free and will be offered every weekend: Saturdays at 11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 1:30p.m., and 2:30 p.m. and at 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. on Sundays. Tours will generally run 30-45 minutes in length, and will not require advance reservations. Simply show up at the Eccentric Café prior to the start of the tour, and we'll take care of the rest. We do ask that large groups call ahead so that we can make sure that we can accommodate you; please call 269/382-2338 during the week within normal business hours and ask for the tour coordinators.

Our beers are available through a wide range of bars, restaurants, and retail accounts. The Beer Finder page can direct you to more detailed information.

That's hard to say at this time. We will not be entering any new markets in 2011 or 2012. The demand for our beers exceeds our existing brewing capacity. We are currently working on a major expansion of our brewery, including a new brew-house and additional fermention space. Once our new brew-house is up and running, we will have a much larger brewing capacity, and we hope to be able to transition into new states. It is too early to make projections about where we'll head next, but we plan on growing as we did before: slowly, steadily, and with purpose.

No, we don't. We recognize the desire to sample our specialty brands outside of the pub, but we choose to control the way they are packaged in order to make sure that they taste the way we intend. Although we don't offer growlers, we have recently introduced our 750ML Series, available in the General Store.
