JOB TITLE: Customer Marketing Data Intern

LOCATION: Administration Building, Comstock, MI

REPORTS TO:  Customer Marketing Specialist  

FLSA POSITION TYPE: Variable Hours, Hourly (Paid) Non-Exempt

INTERNSHIP DATES: 06/04/2018 – 08/24/2018

EXTERNAL POSTING DATES: 02/01/2018- 02/25/2018

 

POSITION SUMMARY: Customer Marketing Data Intern will provide support for the daily operations of the Bell’s Brewery national sales team through marketing efforts and programs. They will gain experience in market, nationally-executed beer programs, and customer insights.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  include the following.

• Adheres to and advances the “Safety Always” culture of Bell’s Brewery.

• Conducts an Oberon in-market case study. 

• Conducts style and brand marker research.

• Coordinates and assemble packages for “Dark Night” events.

• Reviews and tracks off-premise displays.

• Collects and organizes Best Brown and Winter White Focus support materials.

• Creates and updates programming guide Content. 

• Assists in documenting processes as they relate to standard operating procedures (SOP’s).

• Creates an end-of-program presentation to be given to members of the management team.

 

Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.

MATERIALS/MACHINES/EQUIPMENT USED:

• Microsoft Office Programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

• General Office Equipment

 

IMPORTANT SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Demonstrated  knowledge of  Microsoft Office products including Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

• Excellent oral, analytical, written, and group presentation communication skills

• Strong organizational & planning skills

• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with all internal and external stakeholders

• Ability to analyze and translate insights data to spot opportunities for improvement

• Demonstrated ability to think strategically

• Ability to work independently with little supervision – self motivated

 

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS:

• A Junior or Senior currently enrolled in accredited program with an emphasis in Advertising and Promotion, Food & Consumer Package Goods Marketing, Marketing, Sales, or related field.

• Familiarity with space planning and/or Food Marketing.

• Performance duties of this job include regularly being required to sit, stand and walk.
